Background

Interactivewebs modules require a license to be purchase and activated for each sub domain that they are accessed on.

Initially the modules run in a trial mode when they are first hit on a new domain. While in the trial mode, the module will function fully and only display the activation notification to administrators. Once the trial mode is finished, the module functionality will cease until a valid license purchase is matched or an activation key entered.

Before You Activate!

Ensure that the domain you are hitting the module on is the one you want the module to run under with your license. Remember that these are considered two seperate sub domains.

Don't activate on the development domain if this is not the final domain that you want the module to run under. There is only one exception to the sub domain duplication

These are considered as one domain. You can activate on either.

To activate your module

You must first purchase a license. Licenses can be purchased by clicking the Buy Now Button

Once you have made your purchase, you are ready to Activate the Module

1. Click on the Request Activation Key

2. Select the location that you purchased the module license from.

3. Enter the email address you used when making this purchase

4. Click on Submit

Our activation system will attempt automatic license pickup and activation at this point. If we are able to match your purchase details, email address and license that you purchase, then our license server will send you a successful Activation email.

If you receive this message. You are done! Refresh the page by clicking on the page tab or refresh button in your browser, and the module activation system will be removed. In the background, the module has been passed a license key for the domain you are working on, allowing the module to be accessed without activation alerts.

If you receive a message with the subject "How and where to purchase"

this implies that we were unable to match the purchase details you supplied.

This is not necessarily an error, but can indicate that the automation between stores online may not have correctly communicated your purchase to our license server. If you feel this is the case, simply drop us an email as indicated in the email message, and we will be happy to manually match your purchase and send you an activation key.

Once you receive your key, you can enter it on the module directly...

And hit the Submit button.

Notes:

There is no need to record the key, as once activated on that particular domain, the module will always activate automatically. Separate licenses and activations are required for each domains that you access the module from, with one exception.

We have a license management page that allows you to see your licenses not yet activated, along with the activated modules and domains. To access the license management select “License Management” from our support menu.
